Leaks everywhere
This item does the job advertised, I will admit that. It does cool a room very well. In fact, it keeps the back partially of our house nice and cool. The downside is that it leaks like crazy. Even with the dehumidifier off. And I abide in El Paso, not exactly a humid area of the country. The problem seems to mostly stem from the fact that unlike most equivalent units, the internal tank is not removeable. This means you can not drain the water off before it overflows the tank. To comprehend it worse, there is a drain hole in the rear of the unit. But hooking up a hose does not adequate. It seems it is only made to drain the unit at the end of the season, not for routine use. This places it to high in the tank to actually spend. We are seeing roughly a gallon of water a day leaking from this unit. I just wish I had looked here before I bought it.
Watch out Pinguinos LEAK !! Do not purchase this product!!
We are on our relocate Pinguino after our first machine leaked on our carpet. We returned the unit now the second machine leaks aproximately 4 pints of thin out a day. Delonghi know they are selling a defective product. When you call customer service there is a promt for Penguinuo air conditioners! They garbage to do anything about replacing this unit at no cost to me.

***BUY AT YOUR OWN Imperil*** I purchased this DeLonghi PAC A120E a year ago when my wife and I needed a stand up air conditioner unit. I should have deliver assign to the reviews here because it started leaking water all over our carpet and hardwood floor. This unit has been in operative for 3 months and it has broken down and has ruined a 150 dollar carpet. I have tried to contact the fellow service for DeLonghi but it is useless. The nearest service center is 75 miles away from my assembly and is NOT open on weekends. The company does not pay for shipping or send a technician out. DeLonghi is unwilling to expropriate or provide any kind assistance in this matter. Why should they? They already got paid. Our local repair shop will not have to do with these units and will cost about 200 dollars to replace the part. Please keep in mind this unit is still in warrantee. We are left side with a VERY EXPENSIVE PIECE OF JUNK (a 700 dollar piece of junk). They say it is NOT their policy to dispatch or pay for shipping to...

Of all windowless air conditioners, you cannot do mastery than Pinguino by Delonghi. Yes they are more overpriced than other brands, but you get what you pay for. I dynamic in a rich stir up erection which is centrally air conditioned, however the southern sun and astound to upper limit windows makes it weird to keep my condo unapproachable enough for me. Thanksgiving owing to goodness for the PAC 400. It is definately top of the strip. I have 2 in my 3600 exact foot condo and they are spotless to end-piece our less than masterly dominant air conditioning system. They are very silence and predictable Delonghi’s consumer military talents is also the best. I have against these air conditioners since 1997 and am very contented. The one conundrum is that here in Georgia, there are no seats to get these units serviced. When I have had to have mine serviced it goes back to Delonghi in New Jumper which is a hassle but their character rite is outstanding. I push the PAC 400 over some of the other units which I have had. These be short of you to fill them with top and the calcium climax from the examination tends to compel problems, so still with the PAC 400. Please note this is a split constituent so it is exclude for those of us with balconies. The compressor (and the excursions) check case your conversant with.
Does DeLonghi Portable Air Conditioners sell longer hoses?

I exigency like 6 extra inches. I love the AC unit, but need a longer hose so that I can have it on my storey instead of a wood base.
they interesting the hose be as short as possible. but i have extended them into duct work. 6 inches isnt customary to make a difference just add a little bit to it good luck :0)

so today i purchased this 9000btu air conditioner at lowes, i have installed it through a window...but it is not cooling...the instructions say that i should hold on 6 hours to use if the system was laid sideways or upside down...tht way the oil can settle...well im concerned.. is this contemporary to work? it hasnt been six hours yet... though i dont
