    Manufacture of Kenmore Air Conditioners?

    I yen to buy a window air conditioner but I can not decide which one. What do you think about Kenmore? This is one of the Sears brands, but who is the cook up of Kenmore air conditioners (Whirlpool, Panasonic, Electrolux, etc.)?

    Kenmore is its own brand name. Kenmore has a marketing contract with Sears, same as Craftsman.

    With my window air conditioner do I need to have my VENT OPEN or CLOSED to give me a cooler result?

    Electrolux Kelvinator Window Air Conditioner.

    Many window and through-the-mad air conditioners are equipped with an internal vent to bring in fresh air from outside. However, on a hot muggy day the vent should be kept closed. It can be opened on a cool night or day when you are contest the fan only and want fresh air.
