Ghoulish Waste.
When we got this set, I loved it, and while it worked, it worked grand. Both my son and I have horrible allergies and this kept us from suffering.
HOWEVER!! About 1 year after I dished out the $175 I paid for these units, one stopped working. I called consumer support, who told me a replacement would be no problem, but tech support would have to call me back. Tech Support called a few hours later and was very heavily Indian accented, I had a indefatigably time understanding, but after doing what he suggested, the unit still wasn't working so I called the unequivocal number he gave me. He told me I needed to buy the extended warranty (2 more years) for $30. At first I trace this was great, until he told me then it would be $30 for them to send the unit back to me, after I paid to ship the unit to them... That means I would dish out $90 on one unit to get it "fixed"! It was insane to me.
The other unit followed suit and died a few months later.
Please obviate your money and don't get this unit. It won't last.

Champion value for the money...
We reside in an older building, which means we have mold. After the air conditioning system clogged and spilled water down the walls, we ordered this set. The containerize arrived withing four days of ordering. I think that is very prompt service.
The Ionic Pro Air Purifiers have reduced the dust, lint (in the sewing margin) and odor in the apartment. The units are easy to clean, though we will be buying spare fins before Winter. They are so unexcited, and do not interfere with sleep, conversations, or listening to TV or radio. The nicest asset is the lack of the rancid, mildewed "aroma" we smelled every time we came in from the outdoors.
The bonus car ionizers do work, but we intend with windows down, so can't give an accurate assessment of their abilities. I would (and have) recommended this product to friends and family who have allergy-connected problems.

Ahhhhh I can snooze!!!!
Having Exquisite clean air in my room.. My daughter sleeps better, and WOW!!! I can't remember the last time I have slept so creditable in my room. Im Impressed!!! However.. DO NOT LET THE "free car ionizers" sell you on this. They DO NOT WORK at ALL!!!!! Ohh sure its a very beautiful blue light in your vehicle, but there is NOTHING that comes out of the car version is worth it... I've yet to smell ANY contradistinction at ALL in either of my vehicles.. NOT WORTH IT!!

Snuff customer service
I in the first place purchased this product 3 years ago from WalMart. I loved the product and had no problems with it. I had a problem with pet odors in my institution and after using the product the odors were gone! It was easy to use and easy to clean. After about 3 years of unceasing use, the product broke down. I recently purchased the product from Amazon in this 2 pack. I read some patron reviews that were unhappy with the customer service, but since I hadn't had any problems with the product, I ignored them. When I received the consequence I opened it immediately and plugged them both in. One worked perfrectly, the other was defective. By the time I went to results the product, it was too late to return to Amazon, so I needed to contact the manufacturer. I called them and they said they would call me back. They never did. A few weeks later, I tried again. Then said they would call be back, but again 2 time later I had not heard from them. I called a third time and spoke with a woman that did not speak very good english. She briefed me that I would have to mail it to them at my cost and keep track of the shipping number. When the product arrived there I was to call them back and let them know that THEY had received it. Then I would be charged $29.95 to send me a new piece. So, I spent approximately $100 for a defective unit and would have to pay around $60 to get a new one sent to me. Needless to say, I am not returning the spin-off and I will not be purchasing a replacement from this company. Buyer beware!

Odd bouquet
I bought the mini ionic air purifier for my position. I have dust allergies and thought it would help. Unfortunately it emits an unpleasant, metallic odor. I accept it may be the ozone which other reviewers have mentioned. This odor gives me a headache and makes me feel ill. I have stopped using the mini air purifier and would not guide purchase of it. I am now considering getting a more traditional air purifier which has a filter.

Ambition this product works
Amazon.com does not give the dimention of products, so I was surprized that this product was so small. It makes noise when being on for a long culture and that's a little scary. It's hard to tell if it works but I hope it does.

I can say!!
I put this in my bedroom and its wonderful! You do have to unsullied about every week or so but its so worth it. For me, I know I have to clean it when it starts becoming 'noisy'. I cannot breathe at night without this inanimate object plugged into the wall. This product is made for a closet but its perfect for a small closed in room. A must have. Would absolutely purchase the larger one for the whole house.

consummate cat box odor remover
I bought this for my cat boxes. I find this section works amazingly well. I notice an odd smell it seems to give off however, it effectively takes away that 'fresh' cat poo hum which is 100% wonderful. If I should find use for another one, I would not hesiate to buy this unit again.

Makes a Inconsistency
I tour a lot and have two cats. My wife complained constantly of the smell even with the (various) odor absorbing cat palanquin(s) and electric autoscoop box. I can't say that odors are COMPLETELY gone but MUCH better especially when the box goes for some era without changing. The proof is my wife has stopped complaining. What could be more compelling? Would recommend for this application without impossible. Likely good for other odor problems as well but no direct experience. Low cost makes compelling the plunge a pretty low risk.

Don't fade your money!!
I bought this effect as part of a 3 pack that included the large, compact, and auto purifier. The larger unit died about 6 months after I bought it and now the firm size will not run. I cleaned both of them and that's when the problems started. After cleaning the compact unit it will not turn on without at once turning on the clean lite and shutting down. The larger unit had a similar reaction to being cleaned. I replaced the larger one with a Rabbit Air HEPA ooze and it is much better to maintain and I think it actually does something in the room. All the Ionic pro did was waste my money! Find something else!

Polite product, BUT buy a 3m filtrete air purifier instead!
First of all, this is a flawless product, but mine stopped working about 6 months of owning one, very disapointed I like the fact that there is no sieve to replace, all you need to do is clean the blades everytime it gets dirty, but I am still not 100% indubitable if it is really filtering or just collect some of the dust that blows through and get stuck onto the blades, also I do not like the in reality that it releases ozone.. O3, instead of O2 which is oxygen. It shouldn't be harmful but its a bit unsettling to know. I give this element 2 stars because it failed on me after 6 months, i took care of it and cleaned it often, maybe I got a lemon because it seems like no one else had that puzzler.
I recommend the 3M products instead. Ionic pro is nice and slick, but its so nice that its too good to be true, the 3M air purifier is only straight forward and you know its doing a better job filtering than the Ionic pro. It would be nice if all the air purifiers had did not have filters to renew so we could all save a lot of money in the long run, but the fact is, you pay for the replacement filters so that you get what you pay for, it will do the job of truly purifiying the air preferably of the fancy smancy gimmicky blades that you clean from the ionic pro. To me the ionic pro is a trying to be wanabe imitation non-native technology that doesnt really work all the way 100%. The 3M products definitely work 100% all the way and I would plainly spend more money on real performance. If a product does not perform to the best of its understanding, to me it is just a waste of money. Also it is your health, there is no price for your health, being healthy is worth spending the exceptionally bucks, buy the 3M products instead!
Ionic pro is cool, and it does work, but not as well as the 3M air purifiers. Maybe in 50 years in the unborn there will have technology good enough to truly make an air purifier that does not need a filter replacement, until then, you have the ionic pro which is a wanabe forgery "alien technology" that does not truly work to its full potential. Also in the future, the hopefully can put out the ionic pro not release ozone (O3), and release oxygen (O2) which is what we humans would rather breathe.

I adoration the way this makes the room smell!
I skim a bunch of reviews and finally decided on this model. I have never used an ionizer before and I love it!! I warmth the way the room smells when it is on- it's like fresh mountain air! I also like how I can see all of the dust collected on the blades. It exceptionally shows me that it is doing the job it is supposed to- taking dust out of the air. I highly recommend this product regularly to my friends.

The Ozone this fetish puts out is Harmful for children and states this in the instructions. it doesn't clean the air I returned this article the day i got it and had problems shipping back the other one. If i could give it no stars I would.

Seller will not resurfacing e-mails to return item
I can not converse in for the item itself since I have not opened it yet. My husband and I decided we wanted another ionizer and I have been trying to return this one. The seller does not feel for to e-mails even though I contacted them in the required time frame for returns. After doing a search for them online I saw many complaints about this seller. I would warn anyone to use them after reading the other information online.

Helps my son catnap at night
I have owned this drain for a few years now. We moved into a new place a few months ago, and our Ionic Pro sat in the garage for a while. I noticed my son started to cough in bed a lot before at length falling asleep, then cough again when he woke up. So I finally set the filter up in his room, let it run about half an hour, then put him to bed. He hasn't coughed once since, and now the screen lives in his room.
The ONLY problem I have with it is how incredibly bright the blue light is. I had to cover it up so it would not truly illuminate his room.
But I love this (totally silent) purifier and am going to buy one for each room of the concert-hall when they go on sale.

Grade as promised
This purify is quiet and efficient. I was concerned about the reviews that mentioned how loud the unit was. I find it very quiet. Set on sports car it stays on quiet mode. When it detects an odor or poor air quality it kicks up the power, as per usual only to low or medium, handles the problem air quality and then kicks right back down to quiet mode.

This airpurifier WORKS !
(I'm present to try and use a paucity of words but be informative. LOL !)
MY PROBLEM:
Six year Granddaughter's eyes would begin to fire after her being here 1-2 hours. My eyes also burned some.
I have three dogs and (my steel trap mind) directly suspected pet dander.
MY SOLUTION:
I have a small entry foyer with a doggie door through the explode door leading outside and a doggie door through the main door into my home. I bought a Ambience Air S3500 for that small area because that unit moves about twice as much air (CFM) as the XJ3800 and will capture heavier contaminantes such as pet locks. The higher (CFM) air movement of the S3500 creates more noise but I don't care as that noise is outside earshot.
Ring AIR XJ3800.....put the XJ3800 in the den where most (waking) time is spent. That unit is quiet - except on highest fan timeliness - cause that unit is not moving a lot of air. Also has all the other needed filters/filtration plus the HEPA.
VACUUM CLEANER: Also switched to a HEPA bag in the vac.
MY RESULTS:
Granddaughter's eyes no longer desire. My eyes no longer burn. Success.

Comments:
1. To clean air two things are a 'must' 1) HEPA riddle....2) ability to move air through the filter. Moving air makes noise. Moving a lot of air makes a lot of blasting. (Remember boys and girls, there ain't no free lunch.) Additional filters/lights indubitably help with various problems but it all starts with the HEPA.
2. Despite marketing claims to the foul, these portable air purifiers are for ONE ROOM. (Just like window air conditioners are for one flat.)
3) Most manufacturer square footage claims are exaggerated. Reduce square footage surely by one-third and by one-half to be sure.
4. CADR (Clean Air Delivery Rate) numbers are suspect. Nonplus with square footage. You want to cycle (clean) the air in the room 5-6 times per hour. Get your flat measurement - length and width PLUS ceiling height - and call/email the manufacturer/vendor with that info and have them gauge the needed CFM.

Wholly the awesome!
In the over and done with I've used just about every kind of air purifier that exists, and with varying costs and effectiveness, but this one just rocks my socks! It cleans everything, and I contemptible E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G! Dust? Not anymore. Odors? Gone. Pollen? Not a single sneeze or watery eye. This indubitably is the best air purifier on the market hands down. Trust me, I've done the research not to mention have practical encounter with other air purifiers. I definitely recommend this to everyone. My only complaint is with the shipping - the box was all bashed up, and it looked like it was taped by a imitate! The machine had several scuff marks and a black dust all over it and inside of it, but after cleaning it off and following the Instructions instructions (of running it constantly for 8 hours and then unplugging it without turning it off so as to reset the sensors and construct them more sensitive) everything worked perfectly. Not a single problem with the machine, and a persistent odor that I could never seem to get rid of was exactly GONE in about 36 hours of running on high. My apartment has air vent registers in the trounce of each room and for some reason dust and allergens come through it from my neighbors apartments but after putting in pipe register filters and running this machine it's like living in a completely different station! (oh and I have a cat too, and there is no kitty litter/cat poopies smell at all)

I bought an air ionizer that the seller said was new. There is a cheap night light on the bottom of it (it's a plug-in Ionic Pro) that doesn't work, which makes me reasonableness of if the thing works at all. How can I tell, since the ionizer part of it is supposed to be silent?
