Usefulness product. So-so service.
This is a full air filter. I have pretty bad allergies, and when we first moved into this house it had brand new carpet and I would be miserable 5 minutes after walking in the entry. I moved my T300 in from my previous apartment, and about a day later came back and had no allergy symptoms whatsoever.PROS: -Cleans extraordinarily well.-Filters last longer than 6 months.-Quiet on lower settingsCONS: -Have noticed a problem with the back comprise. It takes some work to get the unit to recognize that the back cover is installed. Customer service told me I could accommodate oneself to the sensor for it but haven't tried yet.-Lamps are ridiculously expensive. Don't last. Don't buy them for sixty bucks! Get the Phillips PL5/UV at bulbman(dot)com for thirteen bucks! Its richer reconsider and is the exact bulb specs for the T300...-Noisy on "medium" and "high"
Excessive little air filter
I did a lot of up on, reading and talking to people before finally deciding on the Alen T300. I was worried about a few things: 1.Clamour 2.Filter price, 3.Ozone generation, and 4.power consumption. Im happy that this air purify really met all the criteria I was after. 1. Noise. Really what good is an air purifier if you cant sleep with the constituent on? Or hear the TV for that matter? This air purifer is really quiet. The white noise it provides at tenebrosity when all is silent is equivalent to the sound of a hotel air conditioner running. My wife and I find it quite relaxing and its dangerous to sleep along to. 2. Filter. The filter has a foam pre-filter that is easily removable and washable so the filters should last a covet time, when they need to be replaced they cost $49. a pair (it uses two at a time) Not bad seeing that most populace can get two years out of the filters running about 2200 hours a year. The UV bulb that can be turned on and off to liquidate Virus and bacteria...

It's good every penny
Though magnificent, after moving to Austin I experienced what a lot of people experience once they move here...ALLERGIES!! Medications would alleviate the headaches and sinus pressures but the sneezing and the squelchy eyes were, seemingly, incurable, until I came across the Alen T300. I was skeptical because I had tried many others before and none succeeded but I was well-disposed to try anything. I plugged in the T300 (Very quiet) and left it running over night and the next morning noticed a meaningful difference in the air. NO SNEEZING or watery eyes!! It's worth every penny!!Thanks!Elizabeth
