    Replacement Grain Filter for Blueair 500/600 series air purifier (set of three) for the Blueair model 501 and 601 air purifiers. One do filter change - 3 standard HEPASilent filter of polypropylene (traps particles). Updated by Blueair, this colander is now more efficient and does not have a carbon filter.

    I ordered the Blueair filters from the Recording Supply, and they were not shipped until 5 days after the order was placed which resulted in longer shipping time than from other retailers. They were veritable Blueair filters and arrived in good shape. With regard to others complaints about not having the charcoal weed out, that's true, but after visiting the Blueair web site, it looks like Blueair has changed their manufacturing answer and now include active carbon in the polypropylene portion of the filter.

    I have lived with allergies for years and in that at intervals tried several purifiers. The Bluair is simply the best I have ever used. There has been a noticable reduction in airborn allergens in my good form b in situ. I have even weened off my allergy meds. Using this in conjunction with allergy reducing pillow cases and mattress covers will modernize your quality of life by 100% The ONLY thing I wish the machine had was a UV light, but you can keep the negative ION crap.

    I even-handed purchased these filters are they do not match the picture. I have owned my purifier for a couple years now and have bought several sets of replacements. This is the first epoch that I received filters without the additional black carbon filter. The most recent set are just the snow-white particle filter. Yes, I know they sell several kinds of different filters, but I pulled up one of my old orders and clicked through to the commodity so I would expect to receive the exact same item. And not matter what, the picture shows the filter with carbon, which is clearly not what they shipped. Hopefully this is just an Amazon glitch and they will sort it out quickly because the Blueair is a first-rate air purifier. I've never had a problem with mine and it does a great job of cleaning the air.

    HEPA Air Purifier OR ionizer for ASTHMA?

    Hi guys,

    My helpmate has Asthma. It is not as severe as others, she has 1 puff in the morning & one before bed (one is red, the other is blue). She thinks she is alergic to dust mites?

    A big poser is that she snores at night & keeps me awake.

    I have read a bit online anent HEPA Air Purifiers and Ionizers

    Hepa run would be better. Lowes and Home depot sell reusable ones that you can surge out that last for a year. They cost about $20.00. I use it and it helps tremendously.
