    A sometime reviewer mistook this item for a modern humidifier; one that plugs in or is battery operated, perhaps. This upshot is made to be placed on a wood burning stove or fireplace, hence the description's term "heat originator". By filling it with water and allowing it to be heated by the stove/fireplace, it releases steam into the air. It's a extraordinary way to replace the moisture that is depleted by the use of using wood burner heat. In comparison to it's competing designs, this special steamer is sleek and contemporary. It looks very nice. It would be even better to get some feedback as to it's quality and functionality as a wood stove and grate steamer/humidifier, as the only other review as of my writing this review is the misunderstanding of it's purpose. I'm giving the artefact a 5 star review to offset the negative review from before.

    What you see in the display is exactly what comes in the box! No instructions, no power source. I read somewhere that it's to be placed on a heat creator, well its summer time and we are running the AC. No humidity was produced, I returned it and purchased a germguardian ultrasonic humidifier.
