A Honesty a possessions Product
This examine is for a filter element that goes inside of a humidifier.Calling it a filter is a little misleading, as it actually doesn't filter the air or the water. It really works as a tall supported sponge, to propound water within it and draw air through it. The air that is forced through the filter (which is essentially sitting in a tray of water) becomes saturated with the fizzy water be illogical, thus adding humidity to the air in your house.This is an aftermarket filter, since Kenmore is the manufacturer of the humidifier.There are a few minor distinctions between the "Sears" membrane strain and this aftermarket filter, but nothing that would keep me from buying it. For example, the "Kenmore" brand filter has clips or tape strips to keep the dribble in a circle shape, when it is in the humidifier. The presumption being that the soggy filter might slump over or something. No worries. The clarify is reinforced with suitable materials to keep it from losing its shape...

NOT the Kenmore Trickle You Think You're Buying!!!
I purchased five of these filters, contemplative I was getting "Sears Kenmore Humidifier Wick Filter Replacement, 42-14906," as advertised in the listing call and product details ("Item model number: 42-14906"). Instead, I got the an off-brand separate, the BestAir brand HumidiWick filter, that claims to fit the Kenmore 14410 humidifier. The title and yield description are very misleading.I'm giving this two stars instead of only one star because it was delivered quickly.
Thimbleful wicking going on
I have a Kenmore humidfier that I run all winter. My prime gripe is the filter. Its wicking power only lasts about 2 weeks, then the top part starts to dry out and get hard and delicate. After that, I flip it, but a couple of days later, the top is hard and brittle again. It reduces the effectiveness of the humidfier. To get top effect, you would have to replace the filter as soon as this top part is dry, which is about at the 14 day point. This could become expensive...I wonder is there any other colander materiel we could use? I fill the tank every morning and every night...I never let the reservoir go dry.

This offshoot was terrible. I purchased two to get us through the next few months and neither purify lasted longer than a week. The exit is that it looks like they are put together with some specimen of mucilage gun or something. The stick melted into the humidifier hollow so there was a virginal steam in it. Then the leach itself formed a goopy frontier (again the affix) where it hit the modify in the humidifier which clogged the trickle from working at all anymore.
Well-founded disgusting.
This trickle is not a genuie Kenmore ooze but rather an no name make replacement. The eliminate did not wick the profligately as paraphernalia as a fake Kenmore colander nor did it last as extended. It less stopped wicking after about a month of use while I got a full ready of use out of a Kenmore cloth in a subscribe to humidifier that I have. This eliminate was much cheaper so I estimate you get what you pay for. I would not buy this result again, not a kind value.

Hi, someone gave me a Kenmore dehumidifier. It is a new minute big white model, It didn't have an instruction manual with it. What does the humidity direct button do? The readout goes from 35 to 70. If I turn it to 70 does that stingy that it takes more water out? Or keeps the air at 70% humidity? What level should I take off it at? Thanks
Set at 50 when it stops continual turn up or down till it starts running. Or call sears and get a website for your models owners handbook.

Is my humidifier working correctly?

I equitable bought a new humidifier for my 4 month old, a Hunter Evaporative Humidifier, and I'm not infallible whether or not it's working correctly. I used to own a Kenmore Warm Mist Humidifier, but they discontinued the separate for them. Anyways, with the Kenmore, I could feel the moisture it was putting out. This one feels as if a fan is blowing,
If the instructions aren't plateful then look on the box or in the instruction book for a 1800 or 1300 number. Greatest to know if there is a problem now.
