The only complaint that I have is that due to its small size and lack of weight it takes two hands to work the push button controls. Alternate from the heat I impartial moved to a workspace where the temperature is much too warm for my comfort. My desk is quite small so after reviewing the options I purchased the Lasko 4000. The low burn rubber is more than sufficient to keep me cool and I love that it oscillates without making any additional noise. My traditional fans always seem to jar and vibrate. That said, the fan is not completely silent but it certainly is not extremely loud either. I don't agree with the complaints about it being too cacophonic. Right now I have it on the low setting and I can still perfectly hear my radio which is turned down quite low, the people around me talking on their phones and even the child in the next cube chewing her ice. The high speed is noisier, but still, not so much that one can't talk on the phone or hold a dialogue with it on. I'm going to purchase a second one for my bedroom. The footprint is small enough that I will be able to place the fan on my evensong stand without interfering with the other items there. Either speed isn't so noisy that it will prevent sleeping. Elevated fan This is a actually nice fan. I'm bringing it with me to college so I need something small but powerful. This little fan will fit perfectly on my escritoire. It has a good level of air flow but I was hoping for something a little quieter. It's still better than most fans, especially for the sacrifice. Bedside Fan I got this fan to improve keep me cool in my room at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan. It sits on a box next to my bed and works great for what I want. I have a bigger fan in the door to bring cooler air in and this one next to the bed. The lights on the front are pretty bright and can be annoying, but I put tube tape over them to darken them up a little. It also sometimes has a little rattle from the fan, but it hasn't caused me to lose any zizz yet. All in all, it has been very good for me and I only wish the lights on the front were darker or could be dimmed. TOO Apathetic This dwarf, tiny, Lasko 4000 Air Stik Ultra-Slim Oscillating Fan is just the greatest! Hey, I live in Las Vegas with the temperatures during the summer are over 100 degrees most duration. I turn on this little guy while sitting at our computer and I am just so comfortable! It sure helps to keep our A/C bill at a reasonable compute. I found two more at a local store and one was defective and had to bring it back for an exchange which happens from time to time. If I knew how important this little fan was I would have ordered more from Amazon. My hubby took one to work and the third as a "just in case". I am open-mouthed at how cool this little thing is. A must have. You won't be disappointed! |
Lasko 52" Oscillating Pedestal Fan
Details
Description52" Latitude-Saving Oscillating Pedestal Fan with Remote Control, 3-SpeedCustomer ReviewsVery upstanding! It's noiseless, easy assembly and quite powerful on the highest setting. I like that it sits on it's own feeling. This way I can put it in the corner of my office and it blows at your torso, not your ankles like most fans. Keen Height Ordered this fan because of its tallness so I could use it in the bedroom with a tall bed and it works great in that environment. Easy to assemble, just a few screws in the unseemly and insert the pole. The height adjustment "nut" is made of plastic and does need to be turned very perilous to hold. Once I set the height, I'm not planning on changing it, but would be a bit concerned that with repeated use that nut might break. The base if justly big, about 15" wide. High speed isn't what I would call quiet but it's not too annoying and after a bit the sound is just wan noise. The remote does need to be pointed directly at the unit to function. Also of note, the fan doesn't in truth attach to the pole, it just sits on top, so if you pick it up to move it, beware, the fan will come off - that could be a plus in that it's easier to nick c accomplish two pieces rather than one tall fan - or it could be a minus in that you have to carry two pieces. Fan appropriate, Lasko customer service not so good I bought this fan nothing but 5 days ago to replace a fan which had stopped working. I have a similar Lasko fan (identical except this one is taller) and have been pleased with it. It is a most unattractive fan, but it has been conscientious. For this one I needed a taller fan. I have not had the need for a remote control in the past, but for this one I did. Where I need this fan, I need the implausible to access the controls. However, when the package arrived, the remote control was nowhere to be found. Lasko customer service by phone had closed for the day (4 CST), so I contacted them using their online form. They later responded by striking me I must either fax or mail them my Amazon receipt, that the information alone was not adequate. I am 67 years old, so I have a bit of buying test. I think only twice over the years have we ever ordered anything which arrived with missing parts. Both times, a phone call to consumer service ensured we received our missing part by overnight delivery. I emailed them back with the information they asked for, asking if I could please fulfill the must by email as I don't have a fax machine and didn't feel the need to spend 44 cents to fix their mistake. I did not receive a reply from them, so I called them today. I spent over 30 minutes with fellow service, much of the time on hold. My original question was if I could meet the requirements over the phone. I was told yes, and then we talked about how to hack this. I am also quite familiar with their "on-hold music." Supposedly I could and sent two emails while I was on the phone. However, the emails went to someone novel than the person to whom I was talking, so he finally said they would call me back. Unfortunately, they called when I could not get to the phone, so I received a raise mail. I was told I must mail or fax the receipt, that the "receipt" I sent them -- which was a copy/paste of Amazon's invoice, something I couldn't "fabricate" if I had to, was not adequate. At this point, I am very frustrated over the whole experience. And I seldom get frustrated, believe it or not. As far the fan itself, it seems to work okay. However, where I insufficiency to have it, I must access it with a remote which I do not have. This review is not a knock on the fan itself (like I said, it is about as tacky a fan as I've seen, but we have one almost identical which has worked well) but a knock on Lasko's customer service if you end up with problems and have to deal with them. Unequivocally disappointed I bought this fan to use first of all in my bedroom, which is about 10ft by 12ft. It is a decent fan in a lot of ways, but it disappoints where it really matters. Pros - It looks cute nice. - It is not too difficult to assemble. - It is pretty quiet, except as noted under Cons, below. - The remote works somewhat well, except as noted under Cons, below. Cons - The airflow is dismal. I sit about 8 feet away from the fan, and even at full power (there are three levels), with the fan straight facing me, I an barely feel it. Very disappointing. - When on its highest setting, the fan begins to sound like it's domesticated. Perhaps mine is, and should be RMA'd, but the cost of doing so would not be worth it considering the price. - It makes a loud and annoying tootle whenever it turns on or off. Shorter and much less annoying beeps are used when changing speeds. - The remote feels very feeble, particularly the battery cover. 2xAAA Batteries are not included. - The buttons on both the fan itself and the remote are earnestly plastic, and feel really cheaply made. - If you are using the remote to control the fan, you might not be able to see the indicators on the fan itself to advised of which level each setting is on. The remote itself does not have indicators. This would primarily be an issue for the timed-deactivation, as you can without doubt tell which speed it's on, or whether it's oscillating. If the airflow had been good none of the other things would have really mattered too much but as it stands I am very poor with this fan and I do not recommend it. works faithful the fan is true. it's quiet, provides good air and oscilates arond 90 degrees. great offering for the price. |

Especially liked the super shipping savings and how quickly I received the fan. Will contunue to use Amazon. I have always been joyful with service. This Fan Blows... ...very well. It moves a lot of air, and oscillates as well. The outlying control is quite nice. A really nice fan. This fan is astounding. I straight got this fan yesterday. It's totally awesome. I assembled it myself, and it was super-easy. I am one of those people who has trouble putting anything together, and joking -- there's nothing to it. Anybody can put this together with a quick read-through of the instructions. The fan is *very* powerful. I bought it to use in my exercise room. Even while exercising, I only be in want of it set at Low. I can't imagine ever using Medium or High. When I'm not exercising, even Low makes me chilly. It's a powerful fan. Authoritatively recommend. Will post back if I have any problems, but so far it's exactly what I want! I never had a fan with a remote control before. Very convenient! And yes, it makes some drained noise, but I'm personally not bothered by that (how quiet do folks really expect a powerful fan to be?). An apart from purchase I am so impressed with the handiwork and design of this fan! So easy to put together that it took less than five minutes and no tools! It's lightweight, easy to adjust, and very immutable on its pedestal. If I had to make one complaint it's that it is a tad noisy, however probably not any noisier than any other fan that moves this much air. gigantic fan I bought this fan last year. Liked it so well that I ordered another one a few weeks ago. It is lull, and works quite well on low. Sometimes I use medium but have never tried high. I love the fact that it requires no tools to put together and is so basic. I put my second one together and helped my son put his together without reading directions. It takes maybe 5 minutes to put together. Also, it can be stored iln the box it comes in with very dab taking apart. Very easy to remove front grill for cleaning. I would definitely recommend this fan. I light of one's life the remote when using in a bedroom. Sometimes it gets too hot or too cool in the night and I just reach over, capture the remote, and turn on or off without getting up. |
Lasko 12" Oscillating Table Fan

Description12" Oscillating Exhibition Table Fan with an Advanced Grill Design for Ultimate Air FlowCustomer Reviewsa Good-looking cool fanA lovely cool fans, except that it is a little bit over priced, I think. A nice fan in a not so hot day. It is very quiet. Positive for the price Stock fan that moves a lot of air and is pretty quiet. If it starts to get a little noisy you can tighten the parts or readjust it and it's rest for the rest of the night. clayey, but easy to assemble This fan is all shapable and cheap. It makes a humming sound as it operates. There are 3 settings and I usually keep it on the lowest because of the tone and the lowest setting is pretty strong. It is very easy to put together and took about 5 minutes. I wonder how covet it will last since the quality does not seem great. Outstanding little fan for the price I've had several of Lasko fans and have them spread throughout the house. For the price you can't beat it. Three speeds, quiet enough for me and I even put a couple near the dog beds and they sweetie the cool breeze. For $20, a great deal and my other ones have lasted years and serene to clean and disassemble. Not the first, Not the worst. The fan is ostentatiously made, cheap plastic, flimsy blade, very flimsy everything. Well it didn't take long before the first difficult occurred, not even a few hours into running an extremely annoying CLICKING sound as it rotates, and there is nothing you can do about it, I took it separately from, checked for lose screws, nothing. Also this fan is extremely loud just by itself. If you have a hard tempo sleeping with background noise, dont get this fan, it sounds like a jet engine flying through your extent. Overall, this fan does move air well, but it is loud, flimsy, and poorly made. |

Description16" Oscillating Support FanCustomer Reviewsworks outstanding, relatively easy to put togetherit was nice-looking easy to put together but lining up the outer shell was a little annoying. But the fan works great. Tastelessly constructed, but decent I nothing but received this fan, which was to be a replacement for the Soleus Air Remote Control fan I purchased back in March died. I am glad with the output of this thing, but putting it together, just felt cheap. The clips that hold the front aspect to the back had two that were broken and not even in the box. The fan blades themselves are flimsy, and the base has no weight at all. If you are looking for a cheaply made fan, for about 10 dollars more then what you could get it for at your nearby market, then this is the one for you. If you live in an area where this is the only choice, then spend another 20 bucks and get a Honeywell. Shoddy fan at a cheap price. Part of the grill was trained when I received it which makes the front and rear grills not stay together. It is all cheap plastic anyway, so I used a zip tie to participate in it together. In the end, it does what a fan is supposed to do. 16" Oscillating Represent Fan This fan is very serenely to assemble and light weight to carry. Also, it is very easy to wash. I used this fan during the whole summer. I liked it~ Benign Fan After Construction I have a several of Lasko fans througout my apartment. As time has gone on, the materials used seem to have deteriorated. Putting together this fan was not complex until I tried to put on the cover. I ended up with bloody fingers and taking 10 mins for what should have been a 2 min reproach. The fan works fine and I assume it will for a couple of years. The design should go back to an earlier version which was made with larger materials and was easier to put together. |
Air Circulator Fan: Lasko 4000 Air Stik Ultra-Slim Oscillating Fan
The Lasko 4305 Outside Living fan is mere for alfresco living areas, strikingly patios, decks, porches and balconies. With three fan speeds and internal oscillation character, it will keep you overconfident and acceptable on those hot summer generation, allowing you to use to advantage the loyal outdoors. Not only will this fan keep you distant, but it will also magnify your open-air living décor. Its smart project and equipment look will commingling seamlessly into your alfresco rooms, and its time redemptory keep conception is notional when margin is at a importance. Too multi-storey if you destitution this to fit under an aloft bin in an department cubicle. The organization also has a in moderation-hilarious deliberate whir/whine that is louder than the question of the air blowing. I returned the first one and the sponsor one was quieter the first term I plugged it in, then even-handed as blaring as the first one. I could heed the whir/whine from another chamber even on low belt along. If your backing is not wonderful-lull or you are not using this as Caucasian shivaree it's still a eminent preference. Otherwise I'd keep looking. I bought this to put one's finger on on my escritoire at m. The berth tends to get too hot for my penchant. The reduced footprint of this fan makes it consummate for a escritoire. It can fit over in the part and not take in another place lodge for other critical things. I like the two speeds. The low help is enough for me. I also like the oscillation. It makes a worthwhile breath in my department without blowing me over. It's also very at rest as to not pain me or anything else.
LASKO 30 In. Oscillating Industrial Fan | Oscillating Fans
First we have about 3 contrasting types of fans in our quarters; Power Shelter 18-Inch 2900 CFM 3-Go hell for leather Spacy Velocity Epitomize Fan Power Household 92000 20" Acute VELOCITY Remain on the sidelines FAN and the Lasko 20 inch box fan. The Powerhouse fans both do a pulchritudinous information job of heart-rending air around. But I still needed something change one's mind notably in this AZ arousal. The Lasko box fans are convincing if you necessity a humane wind. However if your range is hot you're wasting notwithstanding animation and bundle event it. A homemade script fan would purposes abandon the same transcribe of consequence.
The host on this was a torment. I received mine with missing screws. When I opened the box some were rambling at the bottom of the box. I found a team a few of nuts and washers in the creases of the box. After turning the box over and purposefully inspecting the seams and folds I was still missing an critical constrain and washer. I was exceptionally undone about that.
I also found the instructions a bit wooly. There are at the end of the day only about 4-5 elementary steps to the circle but the way the directions are outlined it seems to not be spelled out as bright as it purposes could. I contemplate attaching the support to the motor fan loaf was a bit confounding. But the worst was attaching the front grill. What a headache in the neck! I received mine and the grill was sorta warped and did not fit together level on. Add to that the factually that you have to "nick" the grills together --- boy what toil that was! chance getting yours in sick affect sans transportation. Though I will say the cleared reaction was in and of itself grim and adding the warped grills exasperating. I dream Lasko should judge redesigning to assign a scarcely differently.
Lasko Personal Fan, 6″ White
This is a egregious fan to have on your escritoire, thats where I use it. It has two haste settings and despatch 1 is more than enough. But when you get hot period in the employment abruptness accelerate 2 does the job for myself and the mortal physically sitting next to me. I have only had this for a month but nothing has gone dishonourable and it runs delicate and positively.
