Works adroit until it breaks...
We bought this wood stove ~2 years ago, and it worked great! My husband got it out last weekend while we were having wine on the porch (we live in AZ, and it hasn't been that cold)! When we pushed the button to light, we got a flame, but after the "30 support hold time," when we let go, the flame would go out. Per the manual, there are 3 reasons this can happen. We eliminated two of them, the third was to replace the thermocouple. I called the society to find a dealer, since we can clean things, but not fix them. The representative told me that they don't keep a list of dealers, that I should contact anyone who fixes propane heaters. Uhh, Yeah, that's physical easy here in AZ! I called our local BBQ store, and they will fix it if I order the part. So, I go to the website, click on "Parts & Trimmings," voila, I get "this page no longer exists." Soooo, I email the company, and the choicest part is that I got a response within 30 minutes. The worst part is they have discontinued this...
Ethical what we wanted
We purchased the GWT501A (very correspond to) late last fall and used it a few times, then we brought it out again once our Maryland evenings turned cooler. It has met our expectations in every thoughtfulness. Assembly is never as easy as I like, but it was not too bad. We use our heater on our patio at dinner time and while enjoying a glassware or two of wine afterwards. There are just two of us, and we sit at two pub height tables that are about 2 foot square. The heater easily secures to one of the tables using the muddle for the umbrella; some reviews I read complained that similar heaters blew over in heavy winds, but when secured to the flatland there has been no such problem. Our heater came with a fuel line that allows it to be attached directly to a propane tank which I about is a must as regularly using the individual cylinders would be expensive...when used regularly the tank requests refilling about once a week. Importantly the heater puts out a lot of heat for two people...

Worthy heater!
So far very chuffed with this heater. Assembly was very easy. Straight-forward to use. Quality seems good. It runs still (esp. at lower settings) - this was a concern as a loudly-hissing propaine device would be a murmur kill on the sylvan deck. Provides a good amount of heat. Goes thru the little canisters of propaine sort of fast, but this was expected (will probably get a bigger tank). Overall happy with this secure.
