    Description

Big quartz tower heater that combines the best of both worlds. Two pure quartz tubes purvey instant radiant heat that feels like the sun. A MaxFlow fan pushes heat further into the margin. Comfort control thermostat lets you adjust the heat to precisely what you want.
Doze in instant penetrating heat with this large floor heater. Thanks to its patented MaxFlow fan system, the oil-burning stove radiates immediate warmth without causing a draft, and because the case is slightly angled back, the zeal is projected up and outward to warm an entire room. Two quartz elements glow red, alerting users that the front grill is hot and should not be touched. The range can be set to low power (750 watts) or high (1500 watts), and the thermostat adjusted to a familiar comfort level. At lower settings, the heater will cycle on and off to maintain the desired temperature. If by accident knocked over or if overheating occurs, the heater instantly turns off. Despite measuring a bountiful 23 by 12 by 9 inches, the heater is lightweight and easily carried by one hand. Holmes covers this range with a 6-year warranty against defects. --Ann Bieri

Mammoth for small spaces, but noisy
This element does a good job heating up my small office (measuring about 10'x12') rather swiftly, and its thermal control keeps the room in a comfortable temperature by turning the unit on and off on impulse. The unit radiates heat over a pretty large area (with a small fan helping pester the hot air out front). This means that it probably will do a good job keeping you warm in a larger space as well, as long as it's placed closeby. My only grouse is the noise. The unit makes a rather loud rattling noise when its heating elements coin on, which lasts about 10-15 seconds. The fan is reasonably quiet in the low setting, but can be distracting when on high. I undoubtedly wouldn't put one of these in the bedroom.
    I only buy exultant heaters
I have this rhapsodic heater and 2 similar models. They are all noisy for about 15 seconds when they turn on. I suggest uninterrupted it on low in small rooms so it does not cycle on and off. I buy this type of heater for 2 reasons. 1. I find that stilted air heaters dry out the air, which irritates by allergies. 2. The biggest reason is that my cats LOVE laying in front of these heaters for hours. The oven gives off a glow which feels like you are sitting in the sun. I have been using them for years without any safety issues, fair-minded use common sense.
The Kindest Inexpensive Heater I've Found
I exceptionally like the Holmes HQH307 quartz heater. I use it to warm up my master bathroom in the morning. I diminish it on before I hop in the shower. By the time I get out of the shower, the bathroom is toasty warm and I can stand in front of the heater while drying off. I went through several other heaters over a three year era before settling on this one. I've used two different ceramic heaters, one was a low cube and one was a tower. Neither one of those put out as much heat as I wanted yet they passed away a lot of electricity. Then I tried a parabolic heater. It was much more efficient, but the beam of heat was too narrow. It would impassion a portion of my body too much and the rest not enough. It wouldn't heat the room at all. I've had my HQH307 for about three months which is great enough to verify that it doesn't cost as much to use as the ceramic heaters did, yet it puts out a lot more heat. The internal fan is powerful, but it's also melodic loud. For my purpose...

    space heaters question?

I was wondering how many residents have used those little space heaters in their homes and how much of a dent did it put in your electric bill? I have a small holmes space wood stove and run it when I go to sleep at night as my furnace gave out. That would be about 12 hours at end of day and part of the morning. I heard some say that they run up

The most qualified fan electric space heater I have used is one with ceramic design. Otherwise I love my carry-on electric oil filled column heater, with an electric fan and automatic timer to change on and off. It cost me $150AU, heats rapidly and the fan can stay off for silent all tenebrosity heating. As for the bills, if you can buy electricity

Is Using a space Heater a good alternative ?

I unbiased bought this compact Holmes space heater , I am not sure if its safe to use in my home ? Unprejudiced wondering if using that might cause any tripping of the circuit ? I just moved into a new core and seems to be cold all the time.....I want to heat up just the tv lodgings , so please advice if its safe to use a space heater ? If yes what

What I actually think you should look into is determining why this room is cold? What kind of vehemence do you actually have in the home? Is it steam, hot water, or hot air? The heaters are an affordable alternative to the stew but they might not give enough heat when its already cold..
