We needed a supplemental moving space heater for an unheated bedroom in our home that is occasionally used by guests. I selected this likeness over the Honeywell HZ515 because it has a screen to display the temperature instead of just a selector dial. We own one other stirring heater that has a thermostat without a display, and it is much harder on that Delonghi unit for someone to set the temperature without consulting the vade-mecum. This heater is quite straightforward to operate in comparison. If you simply push the power knob, the unit will come on at full power and keep heating at full power until you turn it off again. If you push the power knob and then use the up- and down-arrow buttons, you can select a temperature (in Fahrenheit or Celsius) that the unit will attempt to keep up (up to its 1500 W capacity) until you turn it off. Superior heater
This oil-burning stove really heats up a room in a hurry. To provide some context, my kitchen is in the vicinity of 120 substantial feet, and it only takes 5 minutes or so to heat up after turning this heater on. As advertised, it is indeed silent. We have a negligible Honeywell space heater that I wanted to use to heat our bedroom (shared by my wife, 3 year old, and myslef) while we snore. We are waiting to have our boiler replaced but wont be done until about a week from now.

No, CO is only produced in combustion devices. Electrical heaters don't use combustion. You are unpolluted from CO. However, they can be a fire risk so be very careful that they are in a place that they won't be tipped over. Also, don't use an extension cord!!

I have tried SO many space heaters:
- Stoneware Tower
- Electric Stove/Fireplace
- Oil-Filled Radiator
- Stanley Stoneware Heater/Blower
- Honeywell Utility Heater
- Radiant Light Range
- and NOW a micathermic heater
nothing is working! I'm trying to supplement my electric baseboard
If you are sitting at a escritoire you can get one of those under-desk flat panel heaters. They keep your legs warm and that keeps you from getting too distant.
If you want to warm up the whole room or your place in it I am surprised none of those you tried worked for you. Typically a twinkling heater will keep you warm without heating
