    Customer Reviews

    Delicate for the price.
I bought this oven for around $200 on Amazon. Build quality is good but not excellent. It has all the features of units that tariff twice as much. The packaging and instructions were very good. It works well in zero to light wind on our deck, but when the heartburn picks up forget about and go back inside. I have yet to burn an entire 20 lb. bottle of LPG, having tolerant of the heater several times, so it appears to be pretty easy on the wallet to operate. Make assured you anchor the unit to the deck or ground. Ours blew over and bent the "top-hat" in a "L" shape. It bent back good-looking good but now has a crease in it. Not much else to say. Good luck.
Works, but follow for rust on SS model...
Found this range on [...], bought it with free 2-day Amazon Prime shipping, and put it together yesterday. Easy as pie! Another reviewer said that notwithstanding the sand in the base that his GardenSun blew over and dented the reflector, so I bought 4 long bolts to succeed the ones that shipped with it, and put the bolts all the way through the wooden deck and secured it underneath. Now it's solid like a stun, who wants to move theirs around anyway? Starting the pilot light the first time can be a bit tricky, read the included instructions & you'll be outstanding. EDIT---- I've had the heater for <6 months, now very, incredibly, amazingly rust immersed. It looks pretty seriously unattractive. Discussed with neighbors and is apparently due to low quality stainless steel and uncovering to salt coastal air. Push button igniter dead, but pilot lights comfortably with long-stem lighter from BBQ. Does not use a lot of gas
    Delightful assembly process, decent heater
I'd exhort going into the assembly process in a good mood, so you can get a laugh out of the somewhat chaotic and unfinished assembly instructions. If you go in short tempered you'll probably be miserable. I'm pretty sure the parts in the box didn't match up with the directory of parts I was supposed to have, which in turn didn't match up with the parts referenced in the instruction steps. But the parts I had did all go together well with nothing left over (expect the third foot mentioned below). It seemed like perhaps the engineering of the heater was an evolving method and the instructions hadn't kept pace. A couple of examples... The heater came with three toy feet (presumably to make it more tip resistant) and a set of roller wheels. Neither was mentioned in the instructions. The holes where the rolling-pin wheels bolt on overlap where one of the three feet bolt on, so I guess you have to choose between three feet or two feet and wheels. I went with the wheels,...

    • Hi-Medium-Low regulator
    • Three safety shut-offs
    • Mounts directly to 1- to 20-pound cylinders (not included)
    • Adequate ventilation must be provided; 1-year limited warranty

    Description

Mr. Oven Double Tank-Top Propane Heater with Piezo Ignitor can be mounted directly to a 20-thump propane cylinder. It is made of rugged durable materials and uses manual ignition, reaches its full warmness output in seconds, and requires no electricity to run. Its operating time 10-52 hours and has a hi-medial-low regulator.
For user-friendliness and flexibility in an outdoor-only heater, it's hard to beat the Mr. Heater MH24T 8,000-28,000 Btu double wood stove. This unit gives you the option of using one or two burners and mounts directly on one- to 20-pummel cylinders. It uses infra-red heat, which means that it warms the objects in front of it, not the surrounding air. This gives you more torridness per Btu, which means that using both burners at the highest of the three settings will keep you warm even in miserably cold situations. The wood stove shuts off automatically with loss of flame. Do not use in unventilated areas. One-year limited agreement.--Josh Dettweiler
