Constructed with a Cool Speak Housing and Built-in Carrying Handle for ease in portability.Ultra Quiet Managing for use in any room.Customer Reviewsoptimus infrared wood stove h5210 quartz radiant.very uncomfortable even at 400w , low at 400watts, hi at 800 watts, easy to find and easy to use controls at top repair side, warms up very very quickly about 1 and a half minutes, about 1 and a half pounds, about 14 inches deviating, by 13 inches tall, by 4 inches thick , no fan , SUPER QUIET, as advertised, hope it lasts, will buy another one a moment, does not suck up oxygen, gives no odor, excellent, no humming noise nor crackling discordance, i suggest you keep objects 2 feet from front and maybe 3 inches from objects [on the back and sides], had it a three days. UPdAtE: had it over a year, the heater is excellent. [bought a 2nd one, which also still works after a year !!] ethical bought my fourth one in february 2009..excellent..lasts.! reasonably, quiet This is a edible deal. Mine has worked fine for the 8 months or so I have had it. I like quartz heaters for when I am working in one place, like at the computer. They don't exhilaration the room air very well--they only heat what they are pointed at. This one has 2 heat settings, and the low setting is 400 watts, which is diminish than other brands. I keep it 3 feet away and it keeps me warm for 4-5 cents an hour. There is no fan--something almost all the others have. I like this. The module works silently. Two things to consider: The safety switch on the bottom is a push button that turns off the oil-burning stove if it falls over. It only needs to be extended very slightly, however, to break the circuit. This means that if it is on an uneven skin the heater may not come on. I wrapped a little tape on mine to make the plunger a bit longer so it would sit on an uneven stool. Seduce sure if you do this you do not defeat the switch. It is there for a reason. Also, the control wheel on... For a foolish room This oven sits in my computer room and quietly heats me and the room. No fan, just radiant heat. This oil-burning stove is not for a large room. 8X10 is probably the most to expect. I have another heater that I used, but the noise from the fan got to me, hence I bought the Optimus. Another more favourably is the long electrical cord. The outside temperature is 40° and my room is a very comfortable 70° and I will now set the range to low setting. |

The Grandeurs Of The World: Pok Pok...Bringing summer to me!
Its rainy and gloomy here BUT one termination to Pok Pok and I testify I was sitting at a coast resteraunt in Phuket. Okay I may be streaching it but you get the fantasy. Peerless eatables, extensive concern, and the open-air rise above was marked (all under a space oven). Once I had my minty novel pint infused with mango and the well-seasoned foods I was joking infatuated to Phuket. Ended the continuously with a look after from Pix Patisserie. Delight in the pics.
What portable heater is the most efficient and the least cost to run?
We like the unwind of the world are trying to save money on our heat we live in CT. We leave for industry at 5:30am and return around 7:00pm. We keep our house at 58 degree and when we put one's hands home, we are use a space heater for the few hours we are up rather than keep the whole house at 68 degrees.
My dad has reach-me-down portable heaters from http://www.mobileairsales.com and was really happy with them. I have no idea if they are the correctly size for your or not but worth looking...
How in the world do I solve this physics?? help please!!?
How hunger would a 4.50 kW space heater have to run to put into a kitchen the same amount of heat as a refrigerator (coefficient of carrying-on = 3.00) does when it freezes 2.0 kg of water at 20.0 degrees celcius into ice at 0 degrees celcius?
http://www.aie.org.au/melb/palpable/reso urce/cop.htm
"The coefficient of performance as a refrigerator is rigid as:
COP = Q1/W
For example, at a COP of 3, one watt of motor power in will produce 3 watts of cooling at the evaporator and 4 watts of heating at the condensor. "
