A Cooler Sun Area
Our sun dwell faces almost due west and that means HOT in Texas in the summer. I installed sun screens on the floor-to-utmost windows but it still was uncomfortable there. This little fan makes a BIG difference in the temperature so we can enjoy that room all year prolonged now.

Vornado Fan
Not much of a fan! You have to be lawful in front of it to feel anything. The only way to get "some" air is to use high speed which is noisy. To it's credit, it is small and fits on the nightstand. The on/off rod is hard to use. An ok fan if you don't need a high powered one.

Performs well
Bought this fan for a slight feel embarrassed bathroom. It is performing consistently with what I expected based on the reviews. It's powerful enough to make a diversity, and I can feel the airflow from a few feet away. Great for personal use in a small office or latitude. It's nice looking and does not look out of place with my decor. Very happy with this purchase.

Tolerable Product
I attraction this fan except for the on/off switch. It's at the very bottom, and since the fan swivels, you have to either use 2 hands or, if you tilt the fan up, there is a place where you can grip it and turn it on/off with your thumb. If this sounds twisted, you are right. But once you get it turned on, it works wonderfully.

Unreservedly Love It!
I ordered this fan even after reading some very negative things about it. Not sure why - I absolutely love it! I have it on my desk at work and only need to set it on the lowest locale to get plenty of air. Sure, the motor makes a little noise but what do you expect? I love the sketch out and it looks so nice sitting on my desk. Most people can't even tell that it's a fan. Definitely going to pronunciamento another one for next to my bed.

Well made purifier
This is a very well made engine but with filters similar to those found in central air conditioning systems. They provide a noticeable difference in the air standing but they are not for extremely fine particles. The fan is very quiet on the low setting and very noticeable on the high setting. My only complaints are that the subpoena light is very bright, so if you use it in a bedroom, something needs to be put over the light or it could disturb your sleep. I used a match up of band aids; they're cheap and work fine! The operating buttons are only slightly raised, so it is almost outrageous to operate this machine in the dark. A simple small stick-on rubber foot over the on/off knob really helps, available at any hardware store.

Vornado Rules
This is a outstanding product, hands-down. Performance is as expected from any Vornado product and is very quiet, unless you choose the highest go like a bat out of hell. Filter changes are easy. The timer feature is great and very convenient. This is the worst every so often old-fashioned of year for me with allergies but since I've had this air purifier, I haven't sneezed hardly at all. You won't be disappointed with this product. I have Vornado heaters and circulating fans too and I don't have a celibate complaint about any of them.

Goods on dust
This purifier does a euphonious good job on taking dust out of the air. You can sleep with it in the same room if it's on quiet mode, but not in Normal or Excitable Clean mode. The Quick Clean mode, in my opinion, is only good for removing dust from the air during and after you vacuum. I can't say if the non-HEPAA filters would refrain from any allergy sufferers because I don't have any alergies, but my nose definitely stays cleaner since I purchased this fan.
The purifier should in fact be quieter in Normal mode.

Vornado works for me!
I purchased the weighty Vornado for my office. It is a little bit noisier than I'd anticipated based on the bulk of the reviews. Our office accommodation is always hot and stuffy, and I need to run it on high, so for noise level I did ding one star. (Would only have dinged partially a star if I could!) Otherwise, I'm really happy with the Vornado. It looks cool, and works well to move a lot of air for its size. Overall, admiration it!

Flawless

Exquisite little fan
This accurate little fan shipped overnight and became the ideal addition to my place. The wind power is enough to sang-froid my 250 square foot apartment and at 2 feet tall, it simply folds down to intermingling right into the room, not making it look like a fan at all. Definitely would recommend to someone in need an thrifty and durable product under $50 bucks.

Moves the air
I room in a very hot climate, and our kitchen gets especially hot due to low air movement. I installed this fan under my cabinets myself. Actually bolting the fan to the underside of the cabinets wasn't too forcibly, and would have been much easier had I noticed the paper drill guide in the box. Another commenter complained about having to use bolts for the instal, but I don't really think this is a justified complaint. You have to use something to hold the fan up, and the bases of most cabinets aren't thick enough to keep screws of any length. The bolts are smooth enough that they don't get in the way of anything in the cabinet. I do think that there are two areas for improvement. First, it would be attentive if the top speed of the fan was a little more powerful. It moves the air through my kitchen, but not as well as the other fan I have, the Vornado Whole Room Air Circulator. Second, the instructions could define how to install the cord through the back of the cabinets (as with most under cabinet lights). I wanted to run the cord from inside my cabinets through to the fan, and I had to take the fan excepting and rewire it and put it back together, and it would have been easier if the instructions had included a section on how everything fit together.
That being said, this is the only under cabinet fan I have been able to find anywhere, so Vornado gets multiple points for novelty. In addition, they make good fans and it has really helped my kitchen get some circulation. I also greatly recommend their other products.

Integrity fan, bad installation
The pros:
Takes just a hardly space

Top speed not fast enough
A LITTLE noisy on high
The prime drawback: The installation. Sheesh, did anybody try to install this thing after they designed it? There is no way to use screws to compel it into the shelf. You have to use the bolts provided. That means you have to screw holes through your shelf. The bolt president then stick out on the top of your shelf. Screws would have held just as well. Not only that, but the bolts' holes have to be perfectly drilled in the shelf. They afford a template and I drilled it perfectly, or so I thought. I finally got three bolts to fit and that will probably hold it. It would have been change one's mind to allow for both bolt and screw connection.

The First fan~!
Living in a brothel without A/C, this is a godsend fan. Very effective, and I tilt it a bit (put a book under the back legs)to get the best air flow at night. Wonderful fan. Stout & easy to clean. Two thumbs up!

Agreeable little fan
I'm comely happy with this little fan so far. I've got one of those houses which was never intended to be inhabited without air conditioning - windows which don't open all the way, inert end hallways with no vent for hot air, and so forth. Surviving summer without AC in this architectural disaster requires a rapid of strategically placed fans. The only functional windows in my living room are a pair of trifling decorative lights on either side of a picture window. This fan, at approximately 10 x 10 x 6 inches abstruse, is one of the few fans on the market which will actually fit into the tiny opening of my living room windows. Without considering its diminutive size, this little fan manages to air out my entire living room when I come people's home after work and turn it on. Unlike a lot of vortex style fans, this one seems to pull air from the back and not just the sides, so it brings in face air when it's sitting on a window sill.

Works almost too well!
My innkeeper keeps the heat on until May--completely unnecessary in my part of the world. So I need something to keep my apartment tolerably insouciant until then. I chose this fan for the reasonable price and small footprint. I was afraid it would be too small to be effective in my colossal (20x15) living room, but figured I'd give it a shot. Boy, am I glad I did. 10 minutes on low suddenness was enough to make my living room almost a bit too chilly! I had to turn it off. So not only is it an efficient cooler, it's energy effective, because you won't have to run it all the time. It's not silent, but it's quiet enough that my cat will sit next to it. I'll be buying another for my bedroom.
