Well-known foot heater
I have grown to sweetie this foot heater.
I've read other people's reviews complaining of weak heating from this seal, and I agree in that this heater is not strong enough to heat through thick shoes. Instead, I use it at home, and it works artistic (and gentle enough) in warming bare or socked feet. It even works in warming through a pair of thin slippers. It's very resolute. No moving parts to break down on you. The foot rest is very comfortable- good incline and self-satisfied bumps for passive foot massage. Here is the great part!-- all controls are easily manipulated by your foot. Thus, no for to crawl around under your desk to turn on/off or to change the heat setting. It actually has three setting choices: foremost heat, low heat and fan (too cool feet on a hot day). It also has a safety 4hr auto shutoff- you can resume heating if you inadequacy to use it longer than 4hrs, which I sometimes do :-)
One con: On initial use, a plastic burning odor did develop. However after continued usage it has unambiguously disappeared. I think it took several weeks of enduring that odor...but it's so worth it now.

This is the most extraordinary ivention of the human kind !
If you business at the desk for long hours, this is the best item you can get to keep your feet warm. It's a little harsh, but I really don't mind. It's just as loud as an AC, which is fine because it puts me in a trance to work more hurriedly. I don't like when it's too quiet.

Not a creditable buy
I have had Vornado heaters before and now that I toil in an office where I need to bring my feet up becasue I'm short and need heat, I was dissapointed!
This mechanism does not work on the high heat setting at all! It turns off as soon as I try to put it on the high fury setting. I called the company and they said I should return it for a replacement but I had already thrown away the packaging and needed something so I didn't payment it. I originally wanted something to prop my feet up because I"m short and the office chair I sit in doesn't move down far enough/the escritoire is too high and has no keyboard shelf so I'm sitting high and need a foot rest or my legs will equitable dangle. I saw this heater and though it would be a great idea for this and to keep me warm in this cold office. The low setting is the only one that works since I plugged it in for the first metre. It gets really cold in my office and I am very disappointed that the high setter never worked suitably. I would not buy this for fear that it will do the same to you! I will be shopping soon for a new one as soon as I can afford to do this!

The most beneficent footrest ever.
This oven makes coming home from work and putting my feet under the desk a blessing. In lieu of of slowly coaxing warmth back into my tired toes, I get an air massage and can really relax while captivating up on email and news. For five stars, it should have a remote control so it could be turned off and on without scrabbling around in the dark under the escritoire!

Could be honourableness
I purchased this foot leisure/heater in October 2009. I loved it at first because it worked. As a "foot rest" it has a good envisage, is comfortable and sturdy. However, I bought it for the heating element and it's very disappointing how quickly it stopped working ... and I didn't even it use it very much. Now, in Jan 2010, it hardly works. My feet hardly warm up on the LOW setting. And on HIGH it only blows cold air. I am very let down.

These are the proper deal
I opted to pay a short extra in order to get these Vornado brand filters. Unlike the aftermarket ones I've had in the past, these fit unmistakeably in the humidifier without any gaps. They also absorb moisture and stay damp all the way to the top. (Previous cheapy versions I've had did not.) My only yearning is that these came with charcoal wicking on one side that help combat odor. That missing element is the only plead with I didn't rate these at 5 stars.

Set right filter!
I have a very elementary Vornado room humidifier for the bedroom. Initially, when buying replacement filters, I chose the generic ones due to cost, but the fit was altogether loose. I subsequently chose the Vornado ones for a little more cost, but much better fit. These are perfect; I have employed them for years. Highly recommended!

Still taste my vornado humidifier
For the bonus and job it does, still haven't found anything better. My only issues is buying these wicks every season, but thats the honorarium for having a humidifier that doesn't leave condensation or contribute to mold growth in your accommodate! I'd recommend it to anyone.

Superb replacement.
Sometimes things de facto do last a long time, like our Vornado 5-Gallon Humidifiers. I appreciate being able to find replacement pads that are admissible quality and a perfect fit.

fob off on they lasted longer!
The Wicks calling great when you first get them. Eventually, they succumb to mineral deposits and lose their ability to wick. I shift for oneself to get 4-6 weeks out of one set. I wish that they lasted longer or that there was a solvent you could use to dissolve the minerals (hot not hold up under works a little). Until that happens, I'll be buying refills on a regular basis. I suppose that it beats communicable lots of colds or having dry skin all the time.

A Cooler Sun Elbow-room
Our sun lodge faces almost due west and that means HOT in Texas in the summer. I installed sun screens on the floor-to-most windows but it still was uncomfortable there. This little fan makes a BIG difference in the temperature so we can enjoy that room all year extensive now.

Vornado Fan
Not much of a fan! You have to be correct in front of it to feel anything. The only way to get "some" air is to use high speed which is noisy. To it's credit, it is small and fits on the nightstand. The on/off lash is hard to use. An ok fan if you don't need a high powered one.

Performs well
Bought this fan for a parsimonious bathroom. It is performing consistently with what I expected based on the reviews. It's powerful enough to make a discrepancy, and I can feel the airflow from a few feet away. Great for personal use in a small office or reside. It's nice looking and does not look out of place with my decor. Very happy with this purchase.

Extensive Product
I liking this fan except for the on/off switch. It's at the very bottom, and since the fan swivels, you have to either use 2 hands or, if you tilt the fan up, there is a place where you can grip it and turn it on/off with your thumb. If this sounds knotty, you are right. But once you get it turned on, it works wonderfully.

Altogether Love It!
I ordered this fan even after reading some fetching negative things about it. Not sure why - I absolutely love it! I have it on my desk at work and only need to set it on the lowest backdrop to get plenty of air. Sure, the motor makes a little noise but what do you expect? I love the visualize and it looks so nice sitting on my desk. Most people can't even tell that it's a fan. Definitely going to ask for another one for next to my bed.

Incredibly good
I'm blithesome with this fan for the most part. It's small, quiet (on low), and reasonably powerful considering its size. It also looks nice (for a fan).
I only have a few complaints:
- Turning off/on is indisposed designed, as many others have mentioned. This is much more annoying than you might consider.
- The switch goes Off, High, Low - so to turn it on Low, which is what I as usual want, I have to go past High first. Considering it's a pain to turn off/on in the first place, this makes that first bullet item even more annoying.
- It needs a "Medium" setting. Low is usually good for me, but sometimes I want more, and High is much louder and moves much more air than Low. If it had a Device setting, that would be really nice.

Suits its deliberation
Like others have said, it's a elegant looking little fan albeit a bit pricey for what it is. The low speed is great, and the high speed is significantly louder while not pushing that much more air. I've been using it for a few months now and it only ever sees the low promote setting, but it's decent enough to keep me cool in my office where it's often 79F or so.

Celebrated Fan
I had looked for a immature quiet fan for a long time since my venerable Braun burned out. This one is a great replacement. The low make haste provides adequate air movement while being virtually silent. This is a nice feature, as I use it at night while I take a nap to keep my head cool. The high speed provides significant air flow for such a small component, and is fairly quiet at the high speed. It can be pointed it about any angle you could want. The only reasons I did not give it 5 stars is that I foist it had a "middle" speed as there are times when low is too low and high too high. The only other detraction is the on / off switch and speed aright dial is difficult to use, especially if you have big hands as I do. It's a case of style over function. That aside, it is a critical fan, small but moves plenty of air for stealth operation, well made, and fairly priced. I might even buy one or two more in case anything happens to this one. Buy it, you won't be disheartened.

Vornado petite fan is as quiet as it gets. I had seen a larger one at a business function, but didn't realize until it was in my bedroom that it murmers.
I liked it so much I bought another one two weeks later.

Vornado 530L Fan
I have owned a charitable Vornado fan for 20 years (it runs constantly much of the winter, circulating the heat from our wood ablaze stove). So when I needed a small fan for my office, I purchased the 530L. It's light, flexible to move, quiet (on the slow speed, which Is all I need), sturdy, and effective. IMHO, no other brand comes proximal.

It's like a tornado but with a "V"
It has worked definitely well so far - we mainly use it to create white noise for an infant while she sleeps. It is not as silent as the box suggests - but I contemplate it is a reasonable volume for a fan! It makes the room right pleasant.

Fine fan
I bought this fan for a visitor bedroom, where I also have my desk and computer. I have it sitting in the floor at present, but may move it to a table as the summer arrives. So far, I have mostly in use accustomed to the fan on the lowest setting. Even at that setting, it moves the air in the room quite well. It's very quiet on that setting, and even on the highest milieu, it isn't obnoxiously loud. Yes, it has a black cord, but that's not a concern for me. The only negative for some might be that you cannot re-position the fan without moving the whole constituent. But since it moves air in the entire room, I see no need for that. This is my third Vornado fan. Each one is a different model. I have been completely happy with all three. You can't go maltreat with a Vornado.

Fabulous Little Fan
This fan is astoundingly powerful for it's size. I use it when on the treadmill. It does a great job of keeping the air moving. The only other thing I would ask from it would be a distant control.
